After power is turned on, the drum rotates at high speed, knocking the grains off the straw or husks via toothed pins. The grains and debris fall onto the concave screen; larger particles fall, while smaller impurities are blown away by the blower.
Dual blowers remove leaves, chopped straw, and husks. The remaining grains then pass through a vibrating screen to separate small stones and larger impurities.
