Five silage baling machines have been put into use in Burkina Faso
Last month, five Taizy silage baling machines were successfully shipped to Burkina Faso. These baler and wrapper machines have already been put into operation.

Customer requirements
Our client in Burkina Faso operates a large livestock cooperative and needs to harvest and store large quantities of elephant grass and other natural forage grasses annually.
However, manual baling is inefficient, resulting in loose bales and significant storage losses. Therefore, the client needed to purchase a batch of silage baling machines. The client presented us with the following requirements:
- Increase baling efficiency and enable continuous operation
- Reduce labour input and maximise automation
- Improve the quality of forage fermentation and reduce spoilage
Our solution
Based on the customer’s workload and grass type, we recommended the TZ-55-52 silage baling machine, which can meet the demands of continuous operation. This machine has the following features:
- High degree of automation, significantly reducing manual labour
- High bale density, facilitating long-term storage
- Thick and even wrapping, contributing to improved fermentation quality
- Durable structure, ensuring stable operation in various environments

Machine details
The silage baling machine we recommend to our customers is highly efficient, with a baling speed of 60-65 pieces/hour. Its detailed specifications are as follows:
